Nine cadets from Juarez Lincoln JROTC participated in a US Army Cadet Command sanctioned leadership and training event at the John Newcomb Tennis Ranch in New Braunfels, Tx.  The weeklong camp began on June 10 and ended on June 14th.  During the training, cadets were placed in leadership positions as they participated in hiking, rock climbing, water safety, high and low ropes confidence course, zip lininig, marching and obstacle course competitions, and concluding with a 3-mile float on an inner tube down the Comal River.  Husky cadets graduating from the JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC) include DIana Castillo, Mia Hurtado, Felipe Rincon, Emmanuel RIncon, Jasmin Perez, Marisol Sauceda,Nathan Mendoza, Eradio Estrada and Maleni Flores.

JCLC is an excellent opportunity for our cadets to interact with other cadets share leadership and training experiences while having fun.
